Tree Surveys

Do you need a tree survey on your property in Oxfordshire?

Tree surveys by the experienced professionals

If you are a landowner who wants to carry out construction works or a landscaping project on your property, you need to understand that it is a legal requirement to carry out a tree survey. Whether you have trees on your property, are responsible for maintenance of trees on any property or are managing a woodland, you need to produce tree surveys, implication assessments and arboricultural method statements that conform to BS5837 standards.

Check the health of your trees with our inspections

Annual tree inspections are now mandatory for individuals and organisations responsible for trees in public places according to the Health & Safety legislation. Furthermore, the recommended standards for building near trees require surveys to be carried out as part of the process to obtain planning permission. This is in accordance with BS5387:2005 Trees in relation to construction. This can also help you perform a quick health check on individual trees.

We have a wealth of experience in carrying out tree and woodland surveys and producing reports and management plans. We're happy to serve clients across South East England.

Types of surveys we carry out:

  • Tree Condition Surveys
  • Climbing inspections
  • Health and Safety, Duty of Care or Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (Q.T.R.A.)
  • BS5837 compliant Arboricultural Impact Assessments
  • Tomography and resistograph (Internal Decay Tests)
  • Air spade excavation of areas adjacent to tree roots
"The guys removed a large leylandii, several dead trees and re-shaped my ancient apple trees and prunus giving them a new lease of life. Some of the trees were wedged against new fences and near neighbouring properties but the guys removed them quickly, efficiently and safely. They cleaned up the garden beautifully and politely answered all my boring questions. Very happy with the job, thought they were great value and will have them in again soon."

Trust on us to carry out accurate tree surveys!
